Village Notice Boards

The Parish Council has provided seven notice boards throughout the village. Two are on the playing fields and the others are at the Village Hall, Spar Shop, Poplar Grove, Manor Grove and outside St. Swithun’s School. There is usually space on one of the boards so please do not clutter the Village Hall one.

The clerk and the village warden monitor the boards regularly and remove out of date notices and rain/sun damaged ones as well. There are some simple guidelines to follow please:

• No commercial advertising
• Local and charitable events only
• Do not use staple guns-drawing pins only
• No political posters
• Update posters regularly
• Protect them from rain with plastic or by laminating
• Remove them after the event
• Do not remove other people’s posters - try a less crowded notice board
• No notice larger than A4
